PaladinDTS conducted building enclosure testing for the new high school, helping Fayette County Public Schools achieve its strict air barrier target of 0.15 CFM/ft² at 75 Pa. Instead of waiting for full enclosure, the team implemented a phased testing strategy beginning with a pilot stairwell test and progressing wing by wing to identify and correct air leakage issues early. Through six rounds of testing, PaladinDTS pinpointed weak seals and detailing gaps, provided actionable recommendations, and verified improvements through retesting. This proactive, iterative process eliminated large-scale rework, kept the project on schedule, and delivered a tight, energy-efficient envelope that met the district’s performance goals.
